The Government of Ghana is pleased to announce the availability of up to three Commonwealth Scholarships, tenable from October 2004 at the Universities of Ghana.

Conditions of Awards
The Awards may be taken up at any of the five Ghanaian Universities listed below. All of the awards will be for postgraduate study, with one being for doctoral work.

In order to be eligible for consideration, candidates should have, or expect to obtain in 2004, at least an upper second class degree. A list of priority subjects is expected to be issued by the Ghanaian authorities by the end of September.

Each award will cover full tuition fees, return airfare from the candidate's home country, and appropriate living and study stipends.
